My name is Lexie.

I am a tattoo artist based in Ipswich, Suffolk, working at Abrakadavra Tattoo.

My path to tattooing was shaped long before I ever held a machine. I completed my degree in graphic design before moving to the UK, driven by a lifelong certainty that tattooing was where my work truly belonged. Art, for me, has always been a way to communicate — to reach beyond words and form connections that feel intuitive, honest, and lasting.

Balance sits at the centre of my visual language. I am drawn to order, repetition, and mirrored forms — compositions that feel intentional and grounded. Symmetry offers a sense of calm and clarity, allowing bold blackwork and ornamental detail to exist without chaos. My designs often rely on strong structure and precise rhythm, creating tattoos that feel deliberate, confident, and timeless.

Heritage plays a vital role in my work.

I am Hungarian by birth, and I actively choose to honour that identity through the imagery I create. Hungarian folklore, traditional symbols, and ancient motifs are more than aesthetic references — they are carriers of memory. By translating these elements into tattoos, I aim to preserve cultural narratives and keep them present in a modern world, allowing ancestral stories to continue through living bodies.

Each piece I create is shaped through collaboration — a careful process of listening, refining, and building something meaningful together.

What I value most is intention. I am not interested in fleeting trends or empty ornamentation. I create tattoos meant to feel anchored — work that sits naturally on the body, respects its symmetry, and holds significance beyond the surface.

Tattooing, to me, is an act of continuity.
A way to give form to identity, to honour where we come from, and to mark moments that deserve to remain.

Through structured blackwork, folkloric symbolism, and balanced composition, my goal is to create tattoos that endure — visually, emotionally, and culturally.
